Interpreters speak, translators write

Interpretation and Translation share a common goal of communicating by converting one language to another.

Interpretation is an oral skill – spoken messages are converted instantly and accurately in real-time situations between a speaker and an audience, with careful attention paid to conveying both the information and the nuances of the message.

Translation is a written skill – translators take a written document in a source language and convert it to a document in a target language, taking care to preserve the information, tone and style of the original.

If you require Translation Services, we are able to offer them through our sister company – IDEM Translations. Please call (650) 858-4336, or visit idemtranslations.com for more information.
